La “Fura dels Baus” is a Spanish Theatrical Group, founded in 1979. External reference had the chance to design its new office headquarters in the centre of the “Distric @22” in Poblenou, (Barcelona). I was hired by them to develop all the parametric modelling scripting, to bring to life all the components and wood pieces, that will compose the interior rib cladding of the space.
It was an intense process of less than two months that it took, to go from conceptual drawings to the fabrication process and assembly. The tasks I developed were focused on redesigning an optimised set of pieces that fit within the constraints of the CNC machinery, logical component numbering, and waste reduction by nesting the components efficiently in the MDF boards.
